BMX
Jumping, racing, speeding, swerving, all the thrills and spills
of BMX biking are packed into one week of Cohutta’s BMX
biking program. From the beginner to the pro, Cohutta Springs’
very own BMX racetrack is challenging, exciting and lots of
fun. Bikes and helmets provided.

Mountain Lore/Nature
If you want to go back in time, discover how to care for animals,
make crafts from the Smoky Mountains and learn about Appalachian
nature, then you will totally enjoy Mountain Lore. It is a unique
experience offered only by Cohutta Springs Youth Camp. Ya’ll
come!

Drama
Want to learn the secret of the awesome plays at Cohutta Springs?
Then drama is for you. Our drama program will improve your acting
skills, peer communication skills, ability to stand and speak
in front of a group, eye contact, body control, projection,
diction and confidence. Come join us on stage!

Horsemanship
Do you love horses? This attraction is for you. You'll get hands-on
experience, saddling, grooming and caring for your camp horse.
Each day, you'll enjoy trail rides through the Cohutta Wilderness.
Our certified instructors will evaluate all riders to best place
them in a class level that is challenging and fun. Come ride
the trails with us.

Sports
If you like sports, this one’s for you! Cohutta Springs’
sports class can help you sharpen up skills and develop new
ones in your favorite team sport. We’ll give you playing
time in basketball, volleyball, softball and
flagball. So come join the fun and challenging games that our
sports class has to offer.

Videography
How about
something unique this summer? In videography you can capture
the exciting Cohutta Springs activities as you create your
own souvenir video. We will provide you with an instructor
and all the high quality equipment you need to learn about
digital cameras and digital editing.

Music Performance
Now you can learn how to play the guitar and lead camp songs
from Cohutta Springs’ fine music staff. Learn chords,
strumming and leadership skills. Cohutta Springs will provide
a guitar for you or bring your own. Also, learn to sing your
favorite contemporary Christian songs. If you like to sing and
play the guitar, you will love this attraction.

Archery & Model Rocketry
What would camp be without the challenging sport of archery?
Our qualified instructor can help you learn skills from Yeoman
to Olympian as outlined in the National Archery Association.
Combine that with a week of model rocketry, what more could
you ask for? Spend half the class time as bowman and the other
half building and launching your own model rocket. Of course,
special safety rules are observed to make sure everyone has
a fun, safe time. So come give it a shot!

Gymnastics
Want to get in shape? You will experience power tumbling, acrobatics,
balance and flexibility. For physical challenge and lots of
thrills, this sport is hard to beat. Whether you are a beginner
or intermediate you will really enjoy Cohutta Springs’
Gymnastics.

Creative Arts
If working with fire and making an impression is the kind of
thing you would like to explore, then Cohutta Springs’
Creative Arts class is where you want to be. Ceramics, paper
casting, drawing and more! Come join the fun. Cohutta Springs
Creative Arts…where imagination meets reality.

Swimming
Cohutta Springs has an exciting swimming program this summer.
You can learn five levels of swimming from our American Red
Cross Certified instructors. You’ll enjoy fun water games
or master one of our hottest activities, “The Blob.”
You’ll also like our diving board!

Wakeboarding/Skiing
Talk about fun in the sun! With two Nautiques (the world’s
top-rated competition wakeboard boat) and a full line of HO ski and
wakeboard gear, this is a very popular camp activity. Our membership
with the American Waterski Association qualifies us to instruct
beginners to experts.

The Blob
This giant air-filled pillow is one of the “funnest”
waterfront activities known to man! Play “King of the
Blob” with your friends or get in “take-off position”
and get launched into the wild blue yonder! You’ve got
to go for this ride!

Canoeing
See beautiful Cohutta Springs lake like you never have before.
Find out how much fun the sport of canoemanship can be as you
explore. Your instructor will teach you all you need to know
from basic through advanced levels. Also enjoy our kayaks and
their incredible maneuverability and speed!

Paintball
This new attraction will be complete with equipment, safety gear and
a ration of paintballs. (Additional paintballs will be available in
the CSYC Mall.) Enjoy our woods course as you play this amazing game
of paintball tag. (Tween and Teen Camps only)
